For many Cambodian students choosing the right education it’s an important step to escape poverty. Unfortunately, a lack of school facilities and poorly trained teachers often limits the knowledge and skills teenagers can acquire in high school. Upon graduation, students often find themselves unprepared to face the job market and gain meaningful employment.
In order to solve these problems, People in Need (PIN) supported the design of a new technical and vocational education and training at the Hun Sen Kompong Tralach Secondary School in K. Chnnang. This program was created to help students become experts in food processing by training teachers and installing new equipment in the school. Moreover, it incorporated internships in real factories where students can practice their skills and network before graduation. This video was produced to promote the Vocational program and help enroll new students to the school.
